The inauguration ceremony of the Master of Business Administration program was held on 31st of August 2016 at the Kingsbury. The Vice Chancellor, Senior Professor Sunanda Maddumabandara participated as the Chief Guest of the event. Rohan Pallewatta, the Executive Director of Lanka Harness delivered the keynote speech. The Dean of the Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies, Prof. D.M. Semasinghe commenced the event by providing a prelude to the MBA program to the distinguished guests. The event was graced by the Deans of the faculties of the University, Directors of centers and institutes of the University, Head of departments of the Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies, lecturers of the Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies, visiting lectures of the MBA program and the students enrolled for the 2015/16 intake.
