An especial guest lecture on Corporate Entrepreneurship was held at the Commerce & Management Studies Faculty at the University of Kelaniya on 28th January 2017.The event was a part of the degree program of the 9th batch of Master of Business Administration (MBA) students those who are following Corporate Entrepreneurship and Venture Financing course units. The prime intention of this guest lecture was to share the success story and key milestones of a renowned corporate entrepreneur of a leading multinational organization in Sri Lanka.
The resource person of the guest lecture was Mr. Virendra Perera, The Senior Vice President-Operations at Accenture Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, one of the largest conglomerate in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector. The speaker added immense value to the session by sharing his real like experiences with the challenges encountered during his tenure as an Intrapreneur. The detailed insight that he explained about the Accenture approach of creation of corporate entrepreneurial culture in order to develop future business leaders attracted the interest of the audience.
